Winter in Sherbrooke city has tobogganing and sliding at Parc du Mont- Belleuve. There is a winter Carnival where you can go tube sliding, a 600’ zip wire is installed and a tube sliding event can be found on King Street on a Saturday night; or tube sliding at the Jacques-Cartier Park, which includes dog sled outings, there’s also a snow park and wall climbing to do too. There’s an events calendar to consult.
Sherbrooke is a city is in southern Quebec, Canada. Its nickname is Queen of the Eastern Townships and its motto is 'Ne quid nimis' is Latin for "nothing in excess. I have to admire that motto. Its Region is called Estrie, it situated in the junction of two rivers; Saint Francois and Magog. Its first settlers were in the year 1793. It was named Hyatt's Mill before it was called Sherbrooke; firstly named after American refugees who On 29 March 1792 Hyatt sent in a petition soliciting Ascot Township land for himself and 204 associates; as land grants could be again be submitted according to the Constitutional Act of 1791 . In 1818, the Gazette of Quebec announced Hyatt's Mill shall be named Sherbrooke, honouring His Excellency the Right Honourable Lt-Gen Sir John Coape Sherbrooke.

There are 166 633 person’s according to the 2016 census. It is written that Sherbrooke was the sixth largest city in the province of Quebec and the thirtieth largest in Canada.
